Two-time MVP Steph Curry put on a three-point shooting clinic for the Warriors (35-33), scoring 49 points while going 11-for-21 from long range. The NBA’s scoring leader also grabbed five rebounds and dished out two assists.
The loss marked the sixth straight for the Thunder (21-47), who now boasts the fourth-worst record in the league with just four games remaining.
Svi Mykhailiuk, who didn’t play Thursday against the Warriors, led the way for Oklahoma City with 17 points off the bench. Luguentz Dort scored 16 while trying to handle Curry defensively. Jaylen Hoard and Kenrich Williams each scored 13.
The Thunder allowed 73 points in the first half and at least 30 in each of the four quarters. The game was out of reach after giving up a 33-19 run in the third.
Oklahoma City heads to Sacramento for a pair of games against the Kings on Sunday and Tuesday before closing the season at home against the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers next weekend.
