Box Score | Peachtree Hoops recap

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-93 Friday night, extending their win streak to 15 games. OKC had a 4 game win streak of their own coming into this one, and were a season best 2 games above .500. Like the majority of Atlanta games, no one on the Hawks scored over 25. Paul Millsap led the team with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Thunder had a really bad offensive night, except for Russell Westbrook. "The Executioner" racked up 22 points with 11 assists on 8-16 shooting. He looked really under control and had some great shot selection.

What is your initial reaction to tonight's result?

Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. It was definitely a winnable game, so that hurts, but it's not the end of the world. OKC has an opportunity to close out the 5 game road trip 4-1 with the loss coming to the hottest team in the league.

What was, overall, the main reason why the Thunder lost?

We just didn't execute, man.

Nah, rebounds and turnovers killed the Thunder in the second half of this one. They were out rebounded by 11, with a lot of key possessions extended by the Hawks. They also committed 8 turnovers after halftime, after committing just 3 in the first.
