Muscala has spent the last two seasons with the Thunder, averaging 6.9 points while shooting 37.3% from downtown a game.
Muscala was having a career season last year, scoring a career-high 9.7 points and making a career-high 1.9 threes a game in 35 contests before being shut down for the season.
The career journeymen have grown fond of Oklahoma City the past two years, which was clearly shown in his end-of-season presser, where he expressed how much he viewed OKC as a home:
“I feel like it was; I'm gonna get a little emotional probably,” Muscala said. “It was, coming to OKC, it was, I'm grateful for it, and it helped me a lot as a man and as a player. Even this year, with my family watching from home, I don’t know. I feel like the organization’s values and fans here and everything aligns with what I feel. So, they made it just really gratifying to come in every day and go to work and have that, even this season, have that to-do, with so many people struggling with COVID and all that, just even the opportunity to play basketball just meant a lot to me... I’ll always be a Thunder fan and always rooting for the Thunder.”

It’s a nice deal to have for someone who will provide leadership as the 30-year-old will be one of the more older players on the roster. The deal is good enough where, if his play warrants it, he could potentially be flipped pretty easily to a playoff contender.
Overall, this is a good deal for both sides, and I’m sure most Thunder fans are ecstatic that Moose will dawn the blue once again.
