On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder added their millionth player to their roster with the signing of former New Orleans Pelicans’ Frank Jackson.

Jackson was the 31st overall pick in the 2017 draft and has spent the last two seasons with the Pelicans. Frank was unable to play in his initial rookie season due to multiple foot surgeries.

Jackson has averaged 7.2 PPG on 42.2/ 31.9/ 74.3 shooting splits into 120 career NBA games. The Thunder were reportedly interested in the former Duke point guard during the 2017 draft but could not draft him.

In his four career G-League games, Jackson averaged an impressive 26.8 PPG during the 2018-19 season.

Injuries and a crowded backcourt in New Orleans have limited Jackson’s time in the NBA.

At 22-years-old, Jackson is another young player the Thunder should take a flier on and see if he develops into anything. It is unsure as of now if Jackson will make the final 15-man roster.
