On Wednesday, the NBA announced that the game between the Thunder and Houston Rockets had been postponed due to COVID-19.
Houston does not have the eight players needed to go ahead with the game against the Thunder and this means that the game will be postponed.
In the last few hours, it has been reported that the Rockets would have a lot of players missing due to COVID-19 but it seemed that the Rockets would have enough players to suit up for the game.
According to the league, James Harden was not going to be able to play due to violating the league’s health and safety protocols.
Evidently, Houston does not have eight guys who can play.
The game being postponed will mean that Houston and Oklahoma City will end up playing each other at some point down the line. At this moment, it is unknown when this fixture will be played.
This is the first suspended game of the 2020-21 season and the second suspended game for the Thunder in 2020. OKC had a game against Utah suspended in March of this year because of a positive COVID test for Rudy Gobert.
