Thunder Head Coach Mark Daigneault mentioned that this is a one day assignment and that Roby should be active for both the Blue and Thunder games tomorrow.
This is not surprising, Daigneault has mentioned all season long that players being assigned and called back up from the Blue will be a common practice for the franchise. They have shown that thus far with players like Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins and Vit Krejci.
The Blue began their season yesterday as they blew out the Salt Lake City Stars, 118-63.
After playing a prominent role in the rotation to start the season, playing 10+ minutes in three of the first five games, Roby has not seen the court since Oct. 30. Instead of letting Roby rot on the bench, the smarter course of action is to let him get some playing time with the Blue.
