The Thunder has been in New York City since Friday night, and the blizzard that buried the town threw a bit of a wrench into their typical routine. That, along with the fact that we are in the dog days of the season, with the much-needed All-Star break just a couple of weeks away, meant that a trip to NYC to take on two lesser Eastern Conference teams was far from a simple fun weekend in the Big Apple.
Before the Thunder's ugly performance against the Nets last night, I talked to Seth Rosenthal of SB Nation's Posting and Toasting about all things New York. He raved about Kristaps Porzingis - a lot - and talked about former Thunder friends Derek Fisher and Lance Thomas. We also covered OKC's place among the elite NBA teams, and even took a surprising detour to talk about the idea that Kawhi Leonard is better than Kevin Durant.
You can find Seth at Posting and Toasting - and all over SB Nation, really - and you can follow him on Twitter @seth_rosenthal.
