The NBA Finals commence tonight in a Game 1 meeting between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s status is up in the air as he is expected to miss the first game of this series. The Suns are relatively healthy after dealing with multiple Chris Paul health scares this postseason.

The Bucks paved their way here by eliminating the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks.

The Suns paved their way here by eliminating the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and LA Clippers.

In terms of former Thunder players on each roster, the Suns have a few in Chris Paul, Cameron Payne and Abdel Nader. They also have former Thunder assistant Monty Williams as their head coach. The Bucks have Justin Jackson, who was signed during the season after Jackson was waived by the Thunder.
