Backstory: We've seen the Cavaliers before, so there's not much to say. Cleveland is at the top of their game, and is looking to contend for a title this year. But, something has changed. Both Delonte West and Mo Williams will be injured for tonight's game. This leaves Daniel Gibson and Anthony Parker manning the guard spots, which, all things considered, isn't too much of a step down. What is scary for the Cavaliers is that they really don't have anyone to back them up. Expect either Jamario Moon to move down to the guard spots to shore them up, or expect Danny Green, a not often used rookie, to come off the bench and help out. This might mean we'll see some more James Harden tonight, as Thabo won't have much to defend at the guard spots. It could also mean more scoring for Thabo.
Bottom Line: The Thunder will really need to exploit this guard situation and score from the perimeter if they want to have a legitimate shot at winning. Hopefully, Kevin Durant can have a scoring battle with LeBron, and hopefully Ibaka and Collison can hold off Shaq. Last time though, it was Mo Williams who killed us, so, you never know.
Prediction: Oklahoma City 98, Cleveland 96
